Zui Quan 醉拳 or Drunken Fist is generally regarded as a nonsense performance art seen in movies and wushu tournaments. I regard it the same way as well since I have only met a handful of real traditional Drunken Masters in my life while traveling Asia. 

Luckily for me, my Northern Style Master Ma Qinglong taught the old Drunken art. The one for combative use as well as philosophical change for the studious practitioner. it is a rare art I was lucky enough to learn and have written four volumes of books on it in an effort to keep it alive in a sea of modern performance drunken. 

I teach workshops and full-time intensives on the art worldwide in the hopes to keep this beautiful piece of martial arts history alive.
